National Literacy Framework

These resources were developed in conjunction with a leading literacy practitioner and the Welsh Government. This series of resources covers four popular films that span the primary age range including Around the World in 80 Days; The Iron Giant; Hairspray and WALL·E. 

These resources comprise of a range of activity ideas for the classroom and each film-focused resource offers activities that relate to both the oracy and writing strands of the Welsh National Literacy Framework as well as question prompts and engaging pupil worksheets.

Mae Into Film Cymru wedi cynhyrchu adnodd newydd i gyd-fynd a'r Fframwaith Llythrennedd Cenedlaethol ar gyfer ysgolion cynradd, sy'n anelu i ddatblygu sgiliau llafar, darllen ac ysgrifennu ar draws y cwricwlwm.

Datbylgwyd yr adnodd mewn cyd-weithrediad a ymarferwr llythrennedd a gyda chefnogaeth gan Lywodraeth Cymru, mae'r adnodd hwn yn rhoi'r cyfle i athrawon hogi sgiliau llythrennedd drwy gyfrwng Ffilm. Y ffilmiau sy'n ganolbwynt i'r adnoddau yw Iron Giant, Hairspray, Wall-E ac ‘Around the World in 80 Days', ffilmiau addas at amrywiaeth o oedrannau cynradd.
