Using the short film Crocodile, this resource helps students to explore issues around online interactioins and the role technology plays in our day to day relationships. Students will consider the characters thoughts and feelings and also have the opportunity to reflect on their own experiences with digital media and how it is often portrayed in film. 

This resource is accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation and activity sheets to support learners in class or at home.

Physical Health and Mental Wellbeing: Secondary

  • About the benefits of time spent online, the risks of excessive time spent on electronic devices and the impact of positive and negative content online on their own and others' mental and physical wellbeing.

Learning Outcomes

  • To consider how a character's actions can reveal things that are unsaid
  • To speak about the benefits and positive uses of digital media  when it is used in a safe way
  • To reflect on how using different aspects of digital media can make us feel.
