A film guide that looks at The Black Hen (2016), in which two young boys attempt to make money from selling the eggs of a hen they have found against the backdrop of a ceasefire in a war-torn area of Nepal.
This guide is useful for exploring topics including Politics, History, Geography, PSHE and Religious Education in addition to highlighting themes surrounding campaigns and revolutions, friendships, child safety, growing up, poverty, religions and beliefs, community, rural life and modern warfare.
