Star Wars: The Last Jedi is out in cinemas 15 December.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is without doubt the biggest film of 2017. At this exact moment it is playing in at least 5,000 cinemas around the globe and is being screened to millions of people. There has been a long wait for the sequel to the record-breaking Episode VII that came out in 2015, and let me tell you, it has been worth it.
This film begins straight after the end of ‘The Force Awakens' and jumps right into the action. There is no waiting around, we are thrown into this amazing adventure and it doesn't let us go until the very last minute. It is a true roller-coaster, delivering laughs and emotions on all different levels throughout.
What is truly special about this film is that it feels totally different to any other Star Wars project, and in a series that has eight films, countless spin-offs and a whole host of books and comics this is something that takes skill. We see a different side to everything. In a way, it's a new beginning. We see Star Wars re-born. We see a new hope.
The biggest thing I took away was an amazing message. Star Wars has gained popularity from the start as pure escapism and wonderful fantasy, but I feel something new is to be had here. More than any other film I've seen this year, The Last Jedi holds up a mirror to our own world. The threats are a hundred times scarier and the hope is a hundred times more powerful.
There are still tons of fun to be had and every character has their moment. With some scenes failing to grab you, Star Wars: The Last Jedi isn't perfect. But in a film where more sense is to be had from aliens than our world leaders, it's a hard to find a better blockbuster than this in the whole galaxy.
Join us as we go behind the scenes on the world of film!
