As Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again dances into the cinemas, we sent young reporter Eve to the film's press conference at a snazzy London location to quiz the stars of the ABBA-infused sequel to 2008's box office smash hit original.
Nestled among professional journalists from around the world, Eve asked actors Lily James and Amanda Seyfried how they bonded and looked after each other during filming. Check out their response in the short video below. Flashing back and forth between the past and present, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again sees Sophie (Seyfried) discover more about her mother Donna (Meryl Streep)'s past. Secrets are revealed and much laughter is had on the sunny Greek island of Skopelos, all set to the timeless tunes of Swedish pop group ABBA, including a musical turn by legendary pop diva Cher, who makes an appearance to sing Fernando.
A sweet heartfelt story about family, memories, growing up, and the joy of music, Here We Go Again is a modern musical destined to sing and dance into the hearts of audiences across the UK.

Eve reviews Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again
After ten years Mamma Mia! is back! The new film Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again is a sequel to the original film showing the audience where the characters are five years on from the time of the first film.
However, this sequel is also a prequel, giving an insight into Donna's (Meryl Streep/Lily James) life before her daughter Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) was born and how she met the three men that could be Sophie's father.
The film is filled with fun, feel good ABBA musical numbers which bring the movie to life and introduce a younger generation to ABBA's music. There is some overlap regarding the songs in the new film compared to the original which help to link both the characters and films together. One element of the film that I really enjoyed is the varying levels of singing ability among the cast as this helps to create the everyday life, family feeling that the first film had and was loved for.
The legacy cast returns along with a new cast portraying the younger versions of Donna, Harry, Bill and Sam (Sophie's three potential fathers). This younger cast breathe new energy into these characters showing viewers what they were like when they were younger and how Donna met them. The casting is great with each actor adopting the traits of the already known characters but bringing new elements to their individual personalities.
This film is the perfect summer film for the whole family as there is something for everybody to enjoy. I loved the film and I think that it definitely matches and may be even tops the standard of the first film. I would recommend it to everyone however, although overall a happy film it is an emotional rollercoaster so don't be surprised if you find yourself with a tear in your eye.
