Every Day sees a travelling spirit known as 'A' wake up in the body of a different teenager at the start of each day in this romantic teen drama. One day, 'A' inhabits the body of Justin, a usually inattentive boyfriend to high school student Rhiannon. After spending a beautiful day together in which 'A' and Rhiannon fall for each other, they try to find each other thereafter, despite not knowing what - or who - each new day will bring.
Big Fish & Begonia is a beautifully designed Chinese animation which tells the fantastical story of a 16 year-old girl and her connection to a dolphin she befriends and protects; Funny Cow follows a female comedian who begins to make her name for herself in the working men's clubs of Northern England in the 1970s and 1980s; Wildling is a coming-of-age fantasy-horror in which teenager Anna learns the dark secret of a mythological creature behind her mysterious upbringing.
Ferdinand tells the story of a Spanish bull who prefers flowers to fighting. After being captured, however, his life is turned upside down. Desperate to avoid the bullfighting arena, he gathers a collection of misfit animals and sets out to break free in this family animation which reminds us never to judge a book by its cover.
Raised in captivity by two kidnappers who claim to be his parents, James Pope is thrust into the outside world and reunited with his real family after the authorities find and imprison his captors. Not knowing anything of the real world, his biggest desire is to watch the latest Brigsby Bear episode. But when he discovers that his beloved childhood show doesn't really exist, James - with the help of his new friends - sets out to finish the story by creating a feature-length movie.
