This colourful musical animation, the newest from Disney, explores family, community, and finding your own voice through the process of also celebrating Colombian culture. Set in an enchanted town in the Colombian mountains, the Madrigal clan live in a large, magical house, with each family member possessing a unique power ranging from speaking to animals to super strength. The young Mirabel is the only one without a special ability, leaving her to feel like she does not belong. However, when the house's magic is threatened by a mysterious force, Mirabel may be the only one able to save the family and their home.
The spirit and wonder of Christmas are captured in this family-friendly film, perfect for the festive season, that asks the question: what is the origin story of Santa Claus? This new British film tells that exact tale, introducing us to Nikolas, an ordinary boy who decides he must venture out to the icy north to find his father, who has gone missing during a quest for the mythical land of Elfhelm. Accompanied by his faithful but unruly reindeer Blitzen and an adorable pet mouse, Nikolas finds himself caught up in a magical adventure that will eventually see him realise his destiny.
With New Year's Eve just around the corner, we flash back to 1999 to celebrate the turn of the millennium in style. Returning home to North London after his first semester at university, Cappo has a lot on his mind about his future but nevertheless plans a night with his two best friends, aspiring DJs who have decided to pursue their careers in the capital. As the friends traverse the pitfalls of romance, growing up and their ever-evolving friendship, they must also navigate the treacherous streets of both North and South London in their quest to enter the new millennium in style. Youth-focused and straight from the heart, this British period comedy is full of memorable characters on the cusp of adulthood.
