Dr. Seuss' The Grinch ( 2018 Version)

2 stars

16 Jan 2025

On Thursday the 19th of December 2024 we chose another film made by the company called Illumination which is the same company that made the Despicable Me films and the Minions films but the film we watched was called The Grinch which is set in a town called Whoville where human-like creatures called the Whos live and really love to celebrate the Christmas season however, there is only one who isn't amused by the holiday sprit and that is a green furred creature called The Grinch who has a very small heart, lives in a cave on the top of Mount Crumpit and has only one friend in the whole world which his pet dog Max. Can a little girl called Cindy-Lou make the Grinch believe and love Christmas or will the Grinch take Christmas away for good and ruin the spirit of Christmas? This review has been given a two star rating which means we are not a fan of this version because we prefer the Jim Carrey version as it explains the Grinch's story a lot better on why he hated Christmas so much, so that is why we gave this version a two stars. Thank you for reading our film review on Dr. Seuss' The Grinch and we hope you enjoyed reading our films reviews so far and we hope you will continue to read our future ones.
