With this film that I’ve only seen once, I found this film to be enjoyable from beginning to end as I did enjoy the plot of the film, as well as how Winston Churchill managed as a prime minister during the second World War. What is the film about? This film is about Winston Churchill leading his country during World War II, and figuring out how he can become a better leader in the war against the nazis. I did like how Winston Churchill progressed in the film as it was an interesting watch. I did like how the camera shots were in this film as well, how it was positioned, like with the Over the shoulder shot, as well as the extreme long shots, getting a good idea of where that time of event is happening. I think in this film, it does demonstrate good camera angles to use, as well as using the blur when they want the audience to focus on a certain character. I definitely will say that the action was well done as it was interesting to see how the events would have actually played out when it happened. I do think that the special effects and the animation in the film were well done as well. I did think that the lighting for each scene was well done, as the lighting was set right for each scene, making it work more effectively, especially with the year setting it was set in. With the soundtrack that was used, I thought it was fitting as with what kind of scenes it was used with. What I wish that the film went more into depth on is Winston Churchill becoming prime minister as King George VI just gave Winston Churchill the job without any more reason to it. Overall, it was enjoyable the whole way through, though I don't know if I’d recommend watching it again. However, if you like the subject, such as politics or have an interest in World War II, then I think it’s a film worth watching and checking out for yourself.
