The Bourne Identity (2002)

The opening shot is fantastic, its thought provoking and makes the viewer want to know more, and as the opening scene develops it continues down this vein of mystery and wanting to find out more about this strange man. The acting is exceptional, with Matt Damon being the standout performer, he plays the confused man with amazing skills extremely convincingly. The plot is exciting with numerous twists and turns to keep the viewer engaged, and the action scenes are so well written and shot that it was difficult to look away. With the exceptional writing, the world class cinematography and compelling acting performances, this is a film that commands the respect of any film enthusiast.
