This is seriously my favourite film. Since my first viewing, I watched it three more times in the same day. It's heart breaking and faith affirming all in the same 142 minutes of beauty. It's structure is intelligent and rich in ingenuity. Robet Zemeckis and Winston Groom (author of Forrest Gump by the way) are understatingly brilliant and Tom Hanks is - lightly put - the star of all movies, officially. Robin Wright (Jenny) is stunning and brilliantly casted. She does happy, abused and suicidal so well. Gump's mother (Sally Field)'s death scene is maybe a little disappointing but it's still phenomally acted. Compared to the rest of the movie, just a little under exaggerated but it's a beautiful moment (Life is like a box of Chocolates). Gary Sinise (Leutenant Dan) is sensational and Mykelti Williamson... Well... What is there to say about Bubba? Sensational Story, made for emotional people. I've never witnessed something more intensely gorgeous in my entire life.
