Boris Karloff playing as the legendary mythic monster created by Dr Frankenstein, the acting in the sequel of the original is what would've been considered very Camp back in the 1930's. The acting is very bold and stands out, most characters except from the monster are very over the top and perfect there roles. The story is like I said a sequel to the original, the opening scene confirms that Frankenstein did not die in the original, this film is actually all about Frankenstein's monster seeking company, He goes around causing havoc towards the people in there very camp manor. One of the best parts of the film, with limited spoilers is when Karloff meets a elderly blind man, who cannot observe the monster for who he is. The man builds up a friendship with the Monster. Seeing the film for the first time, I find the sequel very relatable towards modern time now, it explores people who feel like they are cast out upon modern society for what they believe or look like. Apart from the context of the film, the film explored a few humours parts with the over the top and camp characters, such as the old women at the start witness the monster and just screams towards the beast and then very overdramatically runs off. Overall I would rate this film 4/5 Stars, even though its acting I very different, it stands out among Movies of all time. I would say that everyone should at least witness this film once as it is a classic and has memorable and valued morals and contexts.
