'Turtles can fly' is a 2004 Kurdish war drama film written, produced, and directed by Bahman Ghobadi. The film is set in the Kurdish concentration camp on the Iraqi-Turkish border on the eve of the US invasion of Iraq.

Satellite is a heroic role model to the orphaned children and adults alike, as he shows how to cope best in times of conflict. We can incorporate his kindliness into our everyday lives and understand the true cost of war through this deeply moving and powerfully poetic film.

By watching this film, it has reminded me that life is valuable and that we should try our best to have a peaceful world.
