Seven Samurai (1954)

Overall, the seven samurai was very good with adventure, excitement lots of thrills along the way. In a nutshell, the film was about 300 peasants trying to live their lives but in their way are the bandits stealing their food, as there is no protection round the Japanese village. As the peasants are in trouble they try seeking some samurai to protect them and in return bags of rice.

Trying to seek out samurai the peasants have no luck at all Kambei comes and is the first samurai to join the peasants in their aim to beat the bandits.

I very much enjoyed this film because its action packed with sadness and also quite funny. I liked the way the mood had an effect on the weather. Also, I liked the way producer put different camera angles on different kind of scenes. An example of this is when the old man was introduced the angle was close up because the man is important in the film. This man was the peasants went to for advice.

These are the reasons I liked this film, and is a real shame that films today do not have this films effect today.
