Synopsis

Back in the 1980s almost everyone had big hair and strange tastes in denim - even vampires! The story of this supernatural cult favourite begins when a pair of brothers move from Arizona to the troubled Californian seaside town of Santa Carla. Encountering a gang of young bikers who make the lives of all around them a misery what soon becomes apparent is that the gang aren't just any bunch of trouble-makers - they are, in fact, blood-suckers! It falls to the two brothers to save the day, although the odds are stacked against them - and the risks involved are a matter of life and death.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
