Synopsis

Harry Lockhart is a no-good petty criminal, and has been all his life - but he's such a likeable character that it's hard to hold it against him. On the run from the cops in New York after a botched robbery, Harry stumbles through a random doorway and into the middle of an audition for a role in a Hollywood movie - and after the film-makers fall in love with him, he finds himself in Los Angeles "shadowing" a real-life private detective as research for the part. But that's only the beginning of a real-life crime adventure for Harry and his new friends in this smart and fast-paced black comedy-thriller.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
