Synopsis

Woody, Buzz and the gang return - together with some new faces - for more fun in this lively animated sequel to the much-loved Toy Story. The adventure begins when Woody (who turns out to be very valuable) is stolen by grubby toy collector Al. Trapped in Al's Toy Barn, he discovers he was once part of a TV series called Woody's Roundup, and now befriends the other members of the show, who Al has also collected. But Woody misses his owner Andy and the rest of his friends, who, unbeknown to him, are planning a daring rescue mission. Buzz meanwhile has his own problems, when he meets another spaceman who looks remarkably like him...

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."
