Synopsis

New York, 2022 - climate change and overcrowding has created a desperate situation. Scarce resources mean that the masses have to subsist on soylent, a soya and lentil food that is almost unpalatable. However, the Soylent Company have come up with a new, improved green-coloured version - but what is its mysterious ingredient? Cop Charlton Heston starts to suspect there's something very wrong with the tasty treat in an gripping sci-fi film whose setting and message are possibly even more relevant now than they were at the time the film was made.
