Based on a science fiction novel by PD James, Children of Men is set in a darkly futuristic Britain where humanity is on the brink of extinction and a sole pregnant woman holds the key to the survival of the species. Against the backdrop of a London torn apart by warring sects, there emerges an unlikely champion of earth's survival in the form of Theo, a disillusioned ex-activist. A thought-provoking film with impressive cinematography that is an exciting study on genre filmmaking and special effects.
Contains strong bloody violence and strong language
