Put-upon 12-year-old Josh makes a wish on an old fairground machine to become 'big' and - lo-and-behold - the next morning he wakes up in the grown-up body of Tom Hanks. In his quest to return to normality, Josh must cope with all sorts of adult complications, before having to decide whether he wants to return to his 'small' life. Funny and touching, this is the best known of the 1980s body-swap comedies that also included films like All of Me and Vice Versa. Its charm and likability is largely due to Hanks' ability to locate his inner-kid and tap into a wider sense of innocence that continues to strike a chord with audiences.
Contains occasional strong language and moderate sex references.
