When she discovers that she's pregnant, Irish teenager Felicia decides to travel to England to find the father of the baby - her boyfriend Johnny, who left their home town to get a job in a lawn-mower factory. But tracking him down proves harder than expected - and becoming increasingly desperate, she accepts the help of a good-natured chef named Hilditch. The older man seems kind-hearted - but his obsessive nature and love of the past conceals a world of secrets, in this stark and atmospheric modern thriller.
This film has a couple of uses of mild bad language and contains moderate threat.
