After their parents pass away, the three Baudelaire children are sent to stay with their closest living relative - who turns out to be the mind-bogglingly creepy Uncle Olaf, the owner of a rickety mansion who plans to kill the kids and claim their parents' inheritance for himself. After several lucky escapes, the Baudelaires finally get to move in with other family members instead - but they haven't seen the last of Uncle Olaf! This is an imaginative and very funny film adapted from the hugely popular Lemony Snicket children's books, with a fantastic turn from Jim Carrey as the vile Uncle Olaf.
This film has one use of mild bad language and contains mild threat and scary scenes.
