On the evidence of Kontroll, working as a ticket inspector on the underground in Budapest, Hungary, is hardly the greatest job. Bulcsu and the other inspectors have to deal with a crew of rival inspectors who challenge Bulcsu to a bout of "rail running" - racing down the tunnels with trains speeding behind them. Oh, and for a third thing, there seems to be a murderer on the loose in the tube, who keeps pushing unwary passengers under trains. Wildly imaginative and more than a little surreal, this Hungarian black comedy is highly watchable - and even finds room for a little romance too.
Post-apocalyptic surreal black comedy about the landlord of an apartment building who occasional prepares a delicacy for his odd tenants.
