A year after their father died and their mother left America for the Himalayas, three brothers set off on a haphazard train trip across India to find her. The three haven't spoken to each other during the last twelve months - and although they plan to use the journey as a chance to bond with one another, it actually finds them plunged into chaos. Made by director Wes Anderson - who was also responsible for such flights of fancy as Rushmore and The Royal Tenenbaums - this comic-drama is a brilliantly imaginative film with a warm-hearted message about the nature of families.
This film contains strong language and moderate sex references.
