Jerry Maguire has it all - a beautiful girlfriend, a more-than-healthy bank account, and a glamorous job at an agency representing hundreds of famous sports stars. But when he loses his job after suggesting the company focus more on its clients and less on money, Jerry's left trying to work his way back up from the bottom - with just one client and one employee. Famous for introducing the world to the line 'show me the money', Jerry Maguire won its co-star Cuba Gooding Jr. an Oscar, and manages to be uplifting and hilarious without ever being clichéd.
This film about US high finance made ruthless corporate moneyman Gordon Gekko one of cinema's great villains, even idolised by some bank executives.
