The sporting events of the 1972 Olympic Games were overshadowed by a terrorist attack on the Israeli team that ended with eleven athletes dead. This is the story of the campaign of revenge the Israeli government embarked on following the games, sending hit squads all over the world to kill anyone remotely connected with the attack. Director Steven Spielberg wants us to wrestle with a question - at what point does payback becomes worse than the original crime? But make no mistake, this is also a terrific, tense thriller.
This film has a few uses of strong bad language and violence
