How would you feel if a top music magazine asked you to tour with your favourite group and then write about it? Probably as excited as 1970s teen William Miller in this funny yet poignant coming-of-age movie. The trouble is, rock 'n' roll is full of hedonistic distractions - meaning poor William just can't pin down the band long enough to compose his article. With his deadline looming, the 15-year-old needs desperate help, and so turns to self-styled "band aid" Penny Lane, hoping she can work some magic.
One of the most entertaining documentaries in years, this follows the 10-15 year-old contestants in the Junior version of the Eurovision Song Contest.
