Synopsis

Alice should be focusing on her history lesson, but she just can’t seem to pay attention to a book that doesn’t have any pictures in it. Instead, her mind wanders and before she knows it, she’s spotted the most bizarre thing: a white rabbit wearing a waistcoat and carrying a pocket watch is hurrying through the countryside claiming that he’s “late”. Fascinated by this creature and what he could possibly be late for, Alice follows him through a rabbit hole into a brand new world, full of curious creatures and stuffed with nonsense, called Wonderland.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
