The legendary British rock band Led Zeppelin defied ominous predictions that they would “go down like a lead balloon” by soaring to fame in the late 1960s, remaining one of the most influential bands of all time. This immersive documentary chronicles their meteoric rise and offers a rare glimpse into the early lives of guitarist Jimmy Page, vocalist Robert Plant, bassist and keyboard player John Paul Jones, and the late drummer John Bonham. In their own words, the surviving members of the band recount how it was formed, against the backdrop of post-war Britain and the vibrant 1960s music scene. Featuring never-before-seen concert footage and archival interviews, the film explores how Led Zeppelin fused blues, folk, and psychedelia to revolutionise rock music, offering excellent examples of genre evolution, performance, and composition. A powerful documentary to explore the cultural impact of music.
