Synopsis

In 2055, an artificial intelligence (AI) created by the US government detonates a nuclear warhead over Los Angeles. In response, most of the western world pledges to eradicate AI to prevent humanity’s extinction. These attempts are resisted, however, by New Asia – a region comprising East, South, and Southeast Asia which continues to embrace AI. The US military therefore aims to assassinate the chief architect behind the region’s AI advancements, using a space station capable of launching destructive attacks from orbit. As the conflict develops, an undercover US soldier based in New Asia finds himself and his family at the centre of a war between men and machines.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
