In this intense and impactful drama about the rise of violence and misogyny amongst young people, the Miller family is thrown into chaos when 13-year-old Jamie Miller is arrested on suspicion of murder. With the tragic death of a young girl at its centre, this harrowing story is seen through the eyes of those closest to Jamie, such as his parents, sister and friends, as well as the detective and clinical psychologist investigating the case, who are determined to uncover the distressing truth of how and why this happened. Tackling important and complex topics such as social responsibility and the pitfalls of blame, each episode of this four-part series occurs in a single, unbroken camera shot, adding an immediacy and realism to what is already a high-pressure environment.
Please be aware that this programme contains brief scenes of violence and mature, complex conversations around sexuality, misogyny and mental health.
