In a quiet and medieval Italian village, a busker impresses a small child with his ability to play multiple instruments at once. Instead of dropping her coin in a wishing fountain, the child approaches the busker – that is, until another busker begins to play another tune and the two musicians must battle it out and perform their finest songs to win the child’s single coin. With comedic twists and a unique, quaint visual style, this short animation from Pixar is brilliantly told without any dialogue.
