Based on the beloved novel by renowned children’s author Jacqueline Wilson, ‘Four Children and It’, this film introduces us to a group of children who are holidaying in Cornwall with their parents, visiting their strange Uncle Tristan. What begins as a simple trip to the beach soon becomes a magical adventure as the children befriend a grumpy but friendly magical creature with the power to grant any wish they ask for. It does not take long, however, for the kids to discover that Uncle Tristan has his sights set on capturing the creature for his own evil schemes and they must do everything in their power to make sure that does not happen. This whimsical comedy is both an enjoyable escapade and a lesson in responsibility, kindness and being careful what you wish for.
