This documentary focuses on the phenomenon of coral bleaching, a consequence of rising temperatures that has been accelerating the death of coral around the world, with a devastating impact on the entire ecosystem. A team of photographers, scientists and divers set out on a thrilling global mission to discover why. Startling imagery captures the remarkable beauty of the coral in all their diversity and vibrancy, but also reveals in dramatic and emotional fashion quite how badly they are being destroyed. However, the film is also optimistic – designed to harness the enthusiasm and curiosity of young people in particular – to bring about positive change as a global community. A sobering, important, but entertaining film with valuable lessons for us all.
A breath-taking documentary that takes a look at climate change through stunning time-lapses of glaciers from Greenland to Alaska.
