Synopsis

After being fired by the new boss of the Anti-Villain League, the pesky Minions are hoping that Gru will return to his despicable life of crime. Instead, he goes on holiday to Freedonia to meet his long-lost twin brother Dru for the first time. Desperately wanting to get in on Gru’s devious ways, the more handsome, successful and charming Dru devises a way for the pair to team up for one last act of super-villainy. But when former child star Baltazar Bratt arrives on the scene, obsessed with a character he played on television in the 1980s and now intent on taking revenge on the world, things get a bit more complicated. And with the Minions around, a whole lot more mischievous.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."
