When gangly Crusoe washes up on an isolated island paradise, his appearance causes quite a stir amongst the inhabitants – a motley crew of beasts led by bored parrot Tuesday. Never having seen a human before they are amazed by him, and by the promise of a world beyond their own that he brings – especially for Tuesday, who is desperate to explore beyond the limited borders of the island. Despite not having a shared language, the curious critters and Crusoe learn to communicate as he relies on them to survive, and he in turn helps them when the island is threatened by a gang of unruly savage cats.
