Synopsis

This mad, rude, chaotic sequel unashamedly rehashes the plot from the first film, simply transferring the setting to college and – inevitably – the American Spring Break, for another hapless attempt to track down the supplier of a new drug infiltrating the market. Hill and Tatum’s chemistry makes for genuine comparisons with Hollywood’s legendary comedic double-acts of the past; at once goofy and silly, but also heartfelt and honest. Thanks to a sharp script and inventive direction, the film deconstructs the entire notion of knowingly produced sequels and cash-cow franchises, whilst consistently delivering big laughs and a sweet bromance at the film’s core. Loud, brash, goofy fun.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
