Synopsis

For an aeroplane that dreams of becoming a world champion racer, a fear of heights can be a big disadvantage. That is just one of the problems faced by Dusty, a plucky little flyer who seems to have no chance of realising his ambitions. Though built as a crop duster (a type of plane designed to fly low and spray plants with water and fertiliser), Dusty believes that, with some assistance from his supportive helpers, he can compete against his racing heroes. Fans of Pixar's Cars films will almost certainly enjoy this animated comedy, which celebrates bravery, friendship and difference.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
