Detective Johnny English has been honing his skills in Tibet, training in a monastery and gearing up for his next mission. On his return to London his new boss, Pamela, sends him on an investigation to uncover who is behind a plot to assassinate the Chinese Premier at a public meeting with the Prime Minister. With the help of a new assistant, and old acquaintances, English gathers the latest high tech gadgets and embarks on a search for the culprits, unearthing a web of conspiracies within the CIA and MI7.
