Synopsis
Julia Child is America's most famous and most influential TV chef, although in this film we see her before she was a star. Meanwhile, 50 years later in the present, a young woman called Julie Powell is trying to kick-start her life by working her way through hundreds of Julia's greatest recipes and writing a blog about it. This is a warm, funny film with loads of great food and a top performance by Meryl Streep.
