After being banned from competing in singles tournaments, professional skaters Chazz and Jimmy realise they can compete as a male-male pair in the doubles competition. The jokes are broad and unrelenting in this endearingly silly sports comedy and the two actors play well together; Ferrell is especially good fun as bad-boy rebel skater Chazz.
