In shabby post World War Two London, a struggling young couple rent a room upstairs from an older man. He seems to be helpful, but he is actually very bad news indeed... This disturbing drama is based on one of the most notorious criminal cases in British legal history, even taking dialogue from court cases, and capturing the feeling of London at one of the toughest moments in the city's history.
Contains some strong violence, bad language and drug abuse. There is also graphic and disturbing content seen off-screen.
