Synopsis

If you have ever seen a sports movie, you will know the basic idea here: a scruffy outsider rises to the top. Only, as the title gives away, we are in medieval times and instead of boxing, our hero wants to be a champion at jousting. The problem is that only knights are allowed to take part, but young Will finds a way round the rule. Best not treat this as history - they didn't really play 'We Will Rock You' at jousts - but it is a truly fun movie.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
