Synopsis

Hugely popular supernatural love story starring Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore. After Sam is killed during a mugging, he is left hanging around his old apartment as a ghost. Desperate to communicate with Molly, he stumbles across a dodgy psychic, Oda Mae, who is shocked to discover she has real powers. Although there is a thriller plot, the film's real appeal is the idea that love survives even after death, an idea illustrated the famous (or infamous) pottery scene.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."
