Searching
David is a widowed man who is desperate to find his daughter Margot when she goes missing one evening. Unable to get hold of her and fearing she may be harmed, he proceeds to search through her laptop, looking through her social media for clues and interviewing her school friends to try and find some answers. With the help of a detective, he embarks on a suspenseful investigation which reveals he may not know his daughter as well as he initially thought. With a narrative completely set on a computer screen, this unconventional and inventive thriller puts into question society’s obsession with technology and what it means for the relationships between young people and their parents.
Infrequent strong language, moderate violence, drug references.
