WHERE: Empire, 4 Lambton Street, Sunderland, SR1 1TP
Inspire your students with a trip to see The Kid Who Would Be King. This fresh take on a historic mythical legend set in a modern day school will help them learn about friendship, courage and the power of uniting with your classmates in trying times.
You can also engage pupils in a pre-screening discussion about what questions they would put to the director, Joe Cornish if they got the chance. Begin the discussion by watching the trailer and using our 3Cs and 3Ss resource to help with prompt questions to get them thinking about the themes in the film and the inspiration behind it.
You can then submit their questions by end of the day Thursday 24 January. Book tickets now to receive your email with further instructions on how to submit.
*Teachers/educators must ensure they book tickets for themselves as well as students. On the order form, please indicate how many young people and how many adults will attend out of the total amount of tickets you have booked.*
We look forward to seeing you at the screening!
