The Government's newly published enrichment entitlement signals, for the first time in a generation, that enrichment in schools is moving into sharp focus.
Into Film has been named in these landmark documents as one of organisations that can help schools deliver enrichment at scale. Working with thousands of schools every day to provide film and filmmaking activities, we know full well the benefits they bring to children in terms of communication, confidence, empathy for others, and wellbeing.
The new framework will set the standard for how all pupils in England should have access to the benefits of enrichment, and Into Film is proud to step up and support schools to achieve this.
The new enrichment resources reference the work we do alongside young people and educators, including the Into Film Awards, which takes place tomorrow (Tuesday 16 June 2026) at the ODEON Luxe Leicester Square. The Into Film Awards is the biggest showcase for talented young filmmakers from across the country, and recognises the incredible schools that help provide enrichment opportunities that build the creative and technical skills needed to create award-winning films.
