Desert Dancer interview at Edinburgh International Film Festival

Freedom of expression is something we often take for granted but in parts of the world it's essentially outlawed which made Afshin Ghaffarian's decision to become a dancer in Iran such an incredible story. Richard Raymond, director of biographical film Desert Dancer, speaks to our reporter Nathan about what drew him to Afshin's inspiring story and actor Reece Ritchie talks about accurately portraying the film's dance sequences.
