Get Into Filmmaking: Light It Up

Recommended for those who have completed our Get Into Filmmaking training or who already have experience facilitating basic filmmaking activities with young people.

This session builds on existing expertise through lighting activities that can be delivered across classroom and youth settings.

In this session, explore how lighting alters a film's atmosphere and elevates its production value. We will introduce hassle-free methods to replicate professional film lighting techniques with everyday items and a little resourcefulness. You will also refresh your camera knowledge while getting to grips with practical lighting production, acting as the ‘Gaffer' or ‘Spark' of your own creative lighting set up.
