Hello and Welcome to Daniel Craig's first film as 007.. This film shows how James Bond's story really began even though the same story has been shown before. Casino Royal is all about introducing James Bond to the audience and showing how he obtains his license which is to kill, which results into two professional assassinations in quick succession, he is elevated to "00" status. Bond's first 007 mission takes him to Uganda, where he is to spy on a terrorist, whose name is Mollaka. But not everything goes to plan and Bond decides to investigate, independently without MI6, in order to track down the rest of the terrorist cell. Following a lead to the Bahamas, he encounters Alex Dimitrios and a girl called Solange. Then he learns that Dimitrios is involved with Le Chiffre, who is a banker to the world's terrorist organization. Secret Service intelligence reveals that Le Chiffre is planning to raise money in a high-stakes poker game in Montenegro at Le Casino Royale. MI6 than assigns 007 AKA Bond to play against him, knowing that if Le Chiffre loses, it will destroy his organization. M decides to place Bond under the watchful eye of the beguiling Vesper Lynd, which at first glance is skeptical of what value Vesper can provide. Bond's interest in her deepens as they brace danger together and even torture at the hands of Le Chiffre. While in Montenegro, Bond allies himself with Rene Mathis who is a MI6's local field Agent, and Felix Leiter who also is representing the interests of the C.I.A. The marathon game proceeds with dirty tricks and violence, raising the stakes beyond blood money and reaching a terrifying climax. This review has been given a five star rating which means I loved it because Daniel Craig is my favourite bond out of all the films we have watched so far. This is also the first film that James Bond would of gave up his job as the spy for a girl and before he met his wife. Thank you for reading my review on Casino Royale I now have only 3 more films to watch and write reviews for. So are next James Bond film is called Quantum of Solace so you will hear from me next week.
